The iFilm Festival has added an additional category to the allowed submissions: TV/Web Pilot scripts. All genres are welcome as long as a script satisfies the following criteria:

  • a completed script (not an idea or a treatment),
  • up to 60 pages,
  • written in English.

The festival still doesn’t accept any other forms of scripts, such as short film scripts or feature film scripts.

Best scripts may be considered to be produced by iFilm’s production partner, Hunters House Entertainment Group.

“2020 is a great year for developing and producing more content. With the launch of multiple streaming services and global stay-at-home orders, the demand for new content has risen exponentially. We would gladly get involved in producing great concepts found through iFilm Festival, especially when we can grant these opportunities to talented writers that traditionally are being left off due to lack of industry connections ”, says Jen Alvares, a Co-Founder of the festival and a Partner and Executive Producer at Hunters House.

The submission deadline is November 1st, 2020.

Writers can submit their movies for free via iFilm Festival partner’s website, FilmFreeway.com.
