Due to the current unknowns surrounding the entertainment industry, iFilm Festival team has made a decision to extend the submissions deadline to November 1st, 2020, which is 5 months later the original submission deadline.

“Our main goal is to give filmmakers enough time to complete their movies in the safest way possible”, says Jen Alvares, a Co-Founder and President of the festival.

This year the festival accepts narrative short films that were released in 2020 and 2019. The accepted genres include live-action, animation, experimental, and student films. The winner in the Best Short Film category will receive the grand prize of $1,000 USD.

Filmmakers can submit their movies for free via iFilm Festival partner’s website, FilmFreeway.com.
